In the early part of the year of 1992 we got our first Briard, Summer, when she was about 8 weeks old.  Within weeks we knew that she would be a wonderful addition to our family.  By the time she was a year old I was asking Jack what would I do when she was gone!  How could I ever be without her.  He smiled and told me that day was a long time away.   Well, sadly that day came in August of 2001.  Even though by that time we had three other Briards of our own, and my daughter living with us with her Briard, I have never felt so much grief, and so much sorrow. 

During the years I found so much about the breed that convinced me that I will never be without a Briard in my home, but that none will ever hold a place so special in my heart and soul. 

We now have four Briards, Saffron (Ch. Mon Jovis I'm Lothlorian's Saffron), Jordie (Mon Jovis Jordie Le Mouton Chien),  B.J. (Mon Jovis Mr. Bo Jangles), and Maggie (Mon Jovis That's Our Maggie Mae).  All who are so much a part of our lives and family
